PURPOSE:To maintain the sharpness of an image even after preservation for a long period of time or under severe conditions by subjecting a photosensitive material to imagewise exposure to form the latent image of a silver halide, subjecting the material to a developing process, superposing an image receiving material on the photosensitive material, pressurizing the materials in this state to transfer an unpolymerized polymerizable compd. to the image receiving material and heating the image receiving material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material having the photosensitive layer contg. the silver halide, reducing agent, polymerizable compd. and color image forming material on a base is used and is subjected to the developing process to polymerize and cure the polymerizable compd., by which the color image forming material in the cured part is immobilized. The image receiving material is superposed on the photosensitive material immobilized with the color image forming material in the cured part and in this state, the materials are pressurized, by which the color image forming material in the uncured part is transferred to the image receiving material. The image receiving material or the photosensitive material formed with the image is heated. |
