<p>The invention relates to an electrolysis device in which electrolyte is sprayed or sprinkled on the surface of a piece being treated, which is mainly used for the radioactive decontamination of metal surfaces. The device comprises an open box 1, the open side of which can be fitted on surface S of the piece being treated in order to form a leaktight box with that surface. An electrode 5a is located within the box opposite the surface of the piece being treated without being in contact with the surface, and the device comprises a conduit 9 for leading electrolyte to the space 17 lying between the surface to be treated and electrode 5, a conduit 11 for discharging electrolyte from the space between the surface being treated and the electrode and connections 13, 15 to connect the surface being treated and the electrode to the poles of a generator of electric current (not shown).</p> |
