PURPOSE:To obtain a display device which makes display control according to the ambient temp. of a display means by having a control means for controlling the driving of the display means in accordance with the output of a detecting means for detecting the ambient temp. of the display means. CONSTITUTION:An operation part MPU 2 for making display control and key control is connected to a control part 1 for the body of a copying machine by a display data start signal, display data synchronizing clock and display data bus, key data bus, etc. Said part is connected by a data/address bus to a data RAM 3, a program ROM 4, a key scan, an I/O5 for making dynamic lighting up of an LED and an LCD controller 6 for controlling the display of a liquid crystal display device (LCD). The LCD 9 displays the display data controlled by the LCD controller 6 and a detector 10 for quantity of light detects the quantity of light around the LCD 9. A temp. detector 11 detects the ambient temp. of the LCD 9. A back light driving circuit 14 drives a back light 12 for making illumination from behind the LCD 9. |
