PURPOSE:To easily perform operation for shifting a catalyst in a dry type gas desulfurization equipment of coke oven gas by constituting a catalytic layer of plural pallets loaded with the catalyst. CONSTITUTION:After loading a catalyst 19 on plural pallets 14 for loading the catalyst wherein the gas flow holes are provided to the bottom, the pallets 14 are hung down by hanging pieces, and are put on supporting beams 12 of the inside of a housing 1. Operation for shifting the catalyst is carried out by firstly hanging up cover body 2 and taking off it from the housing 1 and hanging up the pallets 14 loaded with a spent catalyst to convey these, then successively putting the pallets 14 loaded with fresh catalyst on the supporting beams 12. Further the cover body 2 has such a structure that a skirt part 5 is incorporated in a water sealing device 3 of the outer peripheral part of the housing 1, and the aperture of the housing 1 is closed. In this gas reaction tank, the scraping-out of the catalyst by the operater is unnecessitated and shifting of the catalyst can be performed at a short time. |
