<p>The unit consists of a thermostat fitted with a sensitive element (8) intended to be placed near the heating resistance (1) of an electric convector. This sensitive element (8) comprises a first part (8a) located in a first space (12) in direct radiative contact with the heating resistance (1) and a second part (8b) located in a second space (11) adjacent to the first and separated from it by a partition (16). The said second space forms a chimney and is provided with a device (15) for circulating the cool ambient air. The unit is also provided with means for actuating the said device (15) for circulating the air in the second space (11) during times when the power supply to the heating resistance (1) is cut off. <IMAGE></p> |
