PURPOSE:To enable a service having a different kind of communication procedure to be performed on the same line, by introducing a line classified communication procedure control table, attaining a communication procedure classification on the table at the starting time of a communication, and changing and managing a line attribute dynamically. CONSTITUTION:A function to perform a control for the communication procedure between an opposite station consists of a line classified communication procedure control table 1, a communication procedure allocation control part 2, and a communication procedure control part 3. The communication procedure allocation control part 2, when receiving a start telegram at the establishment time of a communication from the opposite station, discriminates the communication procedure of the opposite station by the difference of the content of a starting telegram, and stores the communication procedure classification at the line classified communication procedure control table 1, and gives an instruction to start the communication to a corresponding procedure control part. Also, the reception of a data telegram in transmission is performed by the control part 2, and the communication procedure classification stored at the line classified communication procedure control table 1 is checked, and a reception data is handed to a corresponding communication procedure control part 3.
