PURPOSE:To eliminate hourly waste such as standby time and to convey an emergency original with priority by giving to a facsimile equipment an interruption mode and a holding one. CONSTITUTION:When interruption is applied, the 1st facsimile equipment waits for the end of the message of the page concerned, and then transmits an interruption signal. Th 2nd facsimile equipment 2 shows to a nonstandard equipment signal NSF that the equipment 2 is an interruption enabled equipment. Upon the completion of receiving an interruption acceptance signal, the communication is provisionally cut. During the cutting, the communication is made between the 1st and 3rd facsimile equipments. After the communication, the 2nd facsimile equipment 2 is gain called, whereby it is restored and the message communication is resumed. the microprocessor of eacn equipment controls a series of actions. The communication time between the 1st and 3rd facsimile equipments in an interruption mode preferably corresponds to several sheets in original terms.
