The device has a tubular body (2) and a support (3) provided at the free end thereof. A turbine (9) driven by compressed air is accommodated in the body (2) and a bevelled cutter (1) connected to the turbine (9) is accommodated in the conical head of the support (3). The conical head of the support (3) is provided with a recess (4) to receive a mount edge, into which recess (4) the bevelled cutter (1) extends. The recess (4) is delimited on the one hand by a guide lug (3b) and on the other hand merges into an inclined surface (3a). The setting angle ( beta ) of the inclined surface (3a) to the plane of the mount can be varied in the range from 13 to 20 DEG by moving a setting ring (12) with an inclined surface (12a). Laborious manual work with a knife is replaced by this device. <IMAGE>
