<p>The present invention relates to a device for connecting the ends of cable, wire or other cylindrical objects together. More particularly, the invention includes an elongated jaw assembly with openings at each end adapted to receive the objects to be joined. The outer surface of the jaw assembly is tapered towards the ends to slidingly receive collars which, when driven onto the jaw assembly, compress the jaw assembly down around the inserted objects.</p> |
