In a single-arm pantograph for electric locomotives, the upper arm part 4, 5 which is connected in an articulated fashion to a lower arm part is additionally mounted and supported in sprung fashion at the joint with the lower arm part 2, so that the upper arm part and thus the rocker which is arranged on it can carry out vertical movements without moving the lower arm part 2, thus making higher travel speeds possible, even when travelling using multiple traction, as a result of the effective mass at the contact points being reduced. <IMAGE> |
