The planting device comprises of a shaft (11) with two handles (12) at the top. The shaft at the bottom has a bend (23) to allow a foot plate (19) to be attached. On the end of the tool there is a cutting tool to press in the ground. The planting body (13) is manually pressed downwards into the soil to form a suitable cavity for the plant root system. Pref. between two and six cutting flanges (22) are arranged on the planting body in its longitudinal direction to cut the soil apart and any extraneous roots on the sides of the earth cavity. |
