PURPOSE:To obtain a small size high speed printing hammer efficient in printing quality and long in duration, by possessing a buckling spring attached to a base frame and the output end of a lever arm so as to be curved or bent when a piezo element is elongated or shrunk and the arm of which one end is fixed to the buckling spring and of which to the other end a printing wire is attached. CONSTITUTION:A plural printing hammers 15 are fixed to a head frame 16 by passing each printing wire 7 through a guide 8 and arranging a frame base 9 circularly. When a current is applied to a piezo element 13, it is suddenly elongated and the generated minute deformation is enlarged with a bar arm 11. A large force is applied to the buckling spring from its upside and downside and the buckling spring 14 is curved. Because the buckling spring 14 is preliminarily slightly pushed out toward the piezo element 13 side in this case, the arm 15 is rotated counterclockwise by the rotation of the buckling spring 14. The printing wire 7 is projected to the left direction, collided against a platen via an ink ribbon and printing paper and the printing operation is carried out. |
