PURPOSE:To enhance detection reliability and to reduce manhour, by detecting the outer shape and position of electronic parts mounted on a printed circuit board by contacting the pins arranged to a contact plate and collating the detection data with mounting data. CONSTITUTION:Pins 2 are engaged with a contact plate 1 in a slidable manner by guides 1A and springs 1B and contacted with electronic parts 4 to be pushed down in the direction of an arrow F. At this time, the rear end parts 2B of the pins 2 press the elements 1C fixed to the guides 1A to output signals S. By mounting a printed circuit board 3 to the contact plate 1, the pins 2 at a placed where the electronic parts 4 are mounted are pushed down, and the shape and position of the electronic parts are detected to generate detection data D1. Therefore, by reading mounting data D2 from a memory part 6 to collate the same with the data D1, the presence of difference is discriminated.
