PREPARATION OF GASKET FOR WATERPROOF DOOR AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To obtain a solid gasket with a smooth and horizontal surface by casting a smooth-fluidized liquid rubber gasketing into a gasket groove of a door body set horizontally and by curing the gasketing. CONSTITUTION:A required quantity of a liquid rubber gasketing 4 is cast into a gasket groove 1 of a door body 2 which is set horizontally. The gasketing 4 is a mixture of a liquid rubber material and a curing agent having a capacity of adhesion after curing and being able to be mixed completely. The gasketing 4 having been cast into the gasket groove 1 flows smoothly through the whole groove 1 only by gravity under no other pressure. Accordingly, the liquid surface on the whole becomes smooth and horizontal. After a required curing time passes, the gasketing 4 is adhered to the gasket groove 1 and becomes an elastic solid gasket 5 integrated into the door body 2. This constitution can not only simplify its process but also be applied to any form of gasket grooves. Excellent water-tight property can be obtained, regardless of the strain of the door.
