PURPOSE:To obtain a composition capable of giving high-purity drug containers with little eluation of additives and generation of dust therefrom, by incorporating a polyethylene having each specific melt index and density with both fatty acid metal salt and antioxidant. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a polyethylene with a melt index <=1g/10min (pref. <=0.5g/10min) and density >=0.958(pref. >=0.964)g/cm<3> and, more preferably, number-average molecular weight (Mn) 5X10<8>-1.2X10<4>, ratio of weight-average molecular weight to number-average molecular weight (Mw/Mn) >=15 and ratio of Z-average molecular weight to weight-average molecular weight (Mz/Mw) 5-8 with (B) 0.15-0.01(pref. 0.1-0.01)wt% of a fatty acid metal salt and (C) 0.2-0.01(pref. 0.1-0.01)wt% of a hindered phenol-based antioxidant. |
