<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled agent useful for the moisture retention of various materials and the surface of living body, by including a specific lipopolyheterosaccharide into a surfactant skeleton composed of galactosamine, etc., and produced by a bacterial strain belonging to Acinetobacter genus. CONSTITUTION:A lipopolyheterosaccharide bonded with a 10-18C hydroxyfatty acid forming an ester and amide bond is included in a skeleton composed of galactosamine and aminouronic acid and produced by a bacterial strain belonging to Acinetobacter genus. The hydroxyfatty acid to be bonded to the main skeleton is preferably 2-hydroxydodecanoic acid or 3-hydroxydecanoic acid. The amount of the hydroxyfatty acid bonded to the skeleton composed of galactosamine and aminouronic acid in the lipopolyheterosaccharide is preferably about 5-19wt% of the lipopolyheterosaccharide.</p> |
