PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of reading by forming a magnetic detecting module in which a hystericis is added to a magnetic field detecting characteristic, disposing reset magnets in front and back of a driving magnet leaving a slight space in the circumferential direction, and equally dividing the circumference by the number of numerics on a numerical vehicle so as to arrange the magnetic detecting elements. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic detecting module 8 integrating magnetic detecting elements MR0-MR9 and electronic circuits which are respectively connected to said elements is for reading the first digit in the display number of the numerical vehicle 1, namely the position. Magnetic detecting modules 9-11 of the same constitution are arranged at the right sides of respective numerical vehicles 2-4. Printed circuit board connected with the electronic circuits of the magnetic detecting modules 8-11 are disposed behind said modules and work as the so-called mother board. The display of the numerical vehicles 1-4 can be visually recognized from the window 13a of a case 13.
