PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material having improved sensitivity and sharpness of an image by dissolving a polymer which has a main chain substantially consisting of a hydrocarbon chain and in which part of the main chain is substd. by a hydrophilic group contg. a nitrogen atom having a lone pair of electrons or -OH group in the terminal group into a polymerizable compd. CONSTITUTION:This liquid photosensitive compsn. is formed by dispersing the liquid drops of a silver halide emulsion into the polymerizable compd. The polymer which has the main chain substantially consisting of the hydrocarbon chain and in which part of the main chain is substd. by the hydrophilic group contg. the nitrogen atom having the isolated electron pair or -OH group in the terminal group is dissolved into the above-mentioned polymerizable compd. The example of the terminal group of the hydrophilic group contg. the nitrogen atom having the lone pair of electrons is expressed by the formula, where R<1> and R<2> are a hydrogen atom or substituent at which the total carbon atoms of R<1> and R<2> are <=5.
