PURPOSE:To perform the positive detection of the ink exhaustion and make the continuation of printing possible, by completely sealing a substrate cover and the flexible print substrate (FPC) arranged around the periphery of an ink vessel, etc. with UV setting type resin. CONSTITUTION:A groove is formed on the end surface of a substrate cover 4 and FPC1-1 passes through said grove. An UV setting type resin is poured between the substrate cover 4 in the groove and the FPC1-1 and ultraviolet rays are irradiated thereon. Thereby, the UV setting type resin is cured and the gap formed by the FPC1-1, substrate cover 4 and the UV setting type resin 2-1 is thoroughly sealed, to prevent the infiltration of an ink. The pin 21 for the detection of ink exhaustion is inserted into an ink vessel 6 and FCP1-3 is connected to the pin 21 for the detection of ink exhaustion by soldering. All the surfaces of the connection part are thoroughly sealed with UV setting type resin and the shortcircuit of the pins for detection of ink exhaust with each other due to ink is prevented. Thereby, the printing head free from the ink exhaustion detection impossibility, printing impossibility, and erroneous printings can be sealed in a short time to be manufactured. |
