PURPOSE:To place a plurality of moving tables movably along respective paths on a base so as to permit individual movements by providing racks and carriages having pinions rotatably by driving motors. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 10 is rotated, the rotation is decelerated by a speed reducer 11 and then transmitted to a driving shaft 12 and also transmitted through a timing belt 22 to another driving shaft 12. Thus, pinions 15 mounted on the respective driving shafts are rotated, so that an X-axis direction moving table 4 is moved along rails 2 and racks 3. A Y-axis direction moving table 7 is placed on the X-axis direction moving table 4, and is moved in the Y-axis direction on the X-axis direction moving table 4 by actuation of a Y-axis direction driving motor 16, using the same mechanism of support and drive as the X-axis direction moving table 4. |
