PURPOSE:To form a magenta dye image having high colorability and color reproducibility by incorporating at least one of 1H-pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazole magenta couplers in which the 2nd position on/or 6th position is substd. with a specific group into at least one of silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the 1H-pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazole magenta couplers in which the 2nd position an/or 6th position is usbstd. with the group expressed by the formula is incorporated into at least one of the silver halide emulsion layer of a silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one of the silver halide emulsion layer on a base. In the formula, R1 denotes an alkylene group, R2 denotes an alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group. The amt. of the magenta coupler to be added into the silver halide emulsion layer is preferably in a 1X10<-3>-1mol range per mol of silver. |
