PURPOSE:To quickly search the other data packet of a pair of data packets by comparing data packets on two transmission lines to discriminate pairing data packets. CONSTITUTION:Packet data from the first data transmission line consisting of a shift register which outputs parallel data and a data transmission line 14 having the same constitution are inputted to a detecting part 16 of an associative storage device 10. Discrimination data of these packet data are compared and discriminated by a data packet pair detecting circuit 18; and if a pair of corresponding packets are discriminated, a data packet reading circuit 20 is controlled by the circuit 18. This pair of data packets are outputted from the circuit 20, thus searching a pair of data packets more quickly than search based on one data packet stored in a memory.
