PURPOSE:To make the bearing mechanism in the caption to be surely held at the time of manufacture thereof by providing, in the center part of the outer peripheral face of an outer ring, a flat part extending along the peripheral direction as well as forming a spherical surface part in the section which makes contact with the support member of the outer ring. CONSTITUTION:A rolling bearing 1 is composed of metal balls 4 provided between an outer ring part 2 and an inner ring part 3. And in the inner peripheral face of the outer ring 2 and in the outer peripheral face of the inner ring 3 are formed respectively grooves 5, 6 for housing the balls 4, extending over the whole periphery in the peripheral direction. And on the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 2 is formed a belt-shaped flat part 7 extending over the whole periphery in the peripheral of direction in the center part, and on both sides sandwiching the flat part 7 of the outer ring part 2, spherical surface parts 8, 9 are formed respectively. |
