PURPOSE:To provide elasticity and to make mass production, cost reduction, and interchangeability possible by separately arranging recessed and projecting parts which are in contact with an electrode and form gas passages from a separator. CONSTITUTION:Corrugated plates 7a, 7b have a large number of recessed and projecting parts having a trapezoid cross section and the recessed and projecting parts 16 are discontinuous to a gas flow direction and the surface of each projecting part is flat, and the whole part is fit in a hollow part 13 and cutoff parts 14, 15 of distance pieces 6a, 6b. Masks 8a, 8b are used to hold corrugated plates 7a, 7b fit in the hollow 13 of the distance pieces 6a, 6b in a separator 4, and have a hollow part 17 which has slightly smaller dimension than that of corrugated plates 7a, 7b. In the peripheries of the masks, supply passage holes 9, 10 and exhaust passage holes 11, 12 are arranged. |
