PURPOSE:To produce extremely delicious tidbit having high nutrient value at a low cost, by preferentially drying the belly part of a boiled sardine to completely remove the smell and bitterness of guts and uniformly roasting the whole boiled sardine body. CONSTITUTION:A wire net which can be rotated or oscillated along horizontal direction with a motor and a transmission device is horizontally placed in a roasting furnace. An iron plate is horizontally placed immediately above said wire net and is heated with a flame of a burner placed above the iron plate. Boiled sardines are scattered on the wire net and uniformly roasted by the indirect heating with the flame of the burner interposing the iron plate between the flame and the net while horizontally rotating or oscillating the wire net. The roasted sardine is immersed in a seasoning liquid for a short time, dehydrated and dried. |
