PURPOSE:To easily grasp an area to be specified and to eliminate simple errors such as the coordinate input of a wrong position by displaying the positions of end parts corresponding to four segments when the end parts of a copy area or erasure area are specified. CONSTITUTION:Four segments (c), (d), (e), and (g) of the 8-shaped segments of the 3rd digit are lighted after a power source is turned on, a RAM is initialized, and a range setting mode key is operated. Then, those segments blink to indicate a state in which the right and left ends of the area need to be inputted. When, for example, 11 is inputted with ten keys, the registered number is displayed. The number on the display is cleared with an input key and inputted to a buffer. Then, a counter is incremented and the segment (e) lights to indicate a state in which a number is put in the buffer. Similarly, the coordinates of the right and left, and front and rear ends are grasped visually and inputted easily over a look at the display of the four segments (c)-(g). |
