PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a container during storage without sacrifice of instant-use performance by installing a valve which prevents excess negative pressure inside a battery during storage. CONSTITUTION:When the pressure inside a battery is equal to atmospheric pressure, an elastic member 2 of a valve 1 comes in contact with an opening 3 to shut out the flow of the air. When the battery shows a negative pressure of 0.005kg/cm<2> or more, the elastic member 2 is parted from the opening by the pressure difference, and the air enters the battery through a gap. If the opening pressure of the valve is less than 0.005kg/cm<2>, the airtightness inspection of the valve is difficult and the valve may open at a pressure of 0(zero)kg/cm<2> because of the scattering of the valve quality. Therefore, the valve which opens at a pressure of 0.005kg/cm<2> or more is used. |
