PURPOSE:To reduce the cracks of a glass coat layer, to control the sintering temp., and to obtain the titled glass composition with less variations in the voltage dividing resistor by composing the composition essentially of PbO, SiO2, and B2O3 in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:The glass composition consists essentially of PbO, SiO2, and B2O3, and the composition is controlled to 55wt%<=PbO<=65wt%, 20wt%<=SiO2<=30wt%, and 5wt%<=B2O3<=15wt%. In this case, when PbO exceeds 65wt%, the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass coat layer is increased, and the glass coat layer becomes easy to crack. Conversely, at <55wt%, the composition becomes difficult to bake at <=650 deg.C. When SiO2 exceeds 30wt%, the viscosity of the glass paste increases, and conversely, the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass coat layer increases at <20wt%. Moreover, when B2O3 exceeds 15wt%, the sealing temp. of the glass paste is excessively increased, and the composition becomes difficult to vitrify at <5wt%.
