The reciprocal distance between the feet (4) which are fixed to the outermost lower ends of the leg (1), and which form contact points with the lamp shade, can be varied in relation to the central body (2). Thus, they are suited to whichever curved shape of the legs is required, and to the different diameters of the lamp shade neck to be fitted. The feet are fixed to the respective legs by thin vertical membranes acting as articulations, permitting horizontal pivoting movement of the feet in one or the other direction relatively to the corresp. leg.They are drilled out vertically with the formation of a track (40) which is tangential in relation to a common circumference which is concentric with the central body. Each foot has a flexible elastic jaw (41) so that a lamp shade with varying thickness can be retained firmly in the track (40). The complete holder is of one piece structure, produced from rigid plastic material by mould pressing. |
