PURPOSE:To prevent the 1st page of a copying sheet from becoming blank by inhibiting copying operation from starting until a button indicating the odd or even number of originals is pressed even if a button indicating the one surface or both surfaces of an original or copy is pressed. CONSTITUTION:An operation panel 211 is provided with a button switch 213 which is pressed when a one-surface copy of one surface of the original is taken, buttons 215-219 which are pressed in other cases, and button switches 221 and 223 which are pressed according to whether the number of originals counted directly by an operator is odd or even. If the operator presses one of the buttons 213-219 and does not press a quantity button, copying operation is not performed. Consequently, the 1st page of a copying sheet is prevented from being blank. |
