发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF POSITIVE MIX FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain CuO having high bulk density by reducing CuO to form Cu2O in a part of CuO, then by oxidizing the produced Cu2O to CuO. CONSTITUTION:In the first process, CuO is reduced to form Cu2O in a part of CuO, and in the second process, the obtained Cu2O is oxidized to CuO. The reducing precess is preferable to perform at a reduced pressure or in a reducing atmosphere using a gas such as hydrogen at 600-1,000 deg.C. By the process, a part of CuO is reduced to microscopically produce Cu2O, and the atomic ratio of Cu and O becomes 1.5-2.0 as a value of x in CuXO. The treating time is perferably to limit to 3-10hr. By oxidizing treatment, Cu2O produced is oxidized to CuO again. This process is preferable to perform in an oxidizing atmosphere at 600-1,000 deg.C.
