PURPOSE:To set up the capacity of a slave DC power supply to minimum capacity obtained at the stop of operation of an apparatus and to reduce power consumption and cost by supplying current from a master DC power supply to the slave DC power supply at the operation of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:At the stop of the operation of the apparatus, only the DC power supply 17 is driven and a computer 10 continues the operation of a memory holding/closing function. When an operation signal is inputted to the computer 10, a relay 22 is driven at first and then an AC power supply 1 in the DC power supply 18 is turned on. The capacity of circuits parts 4, 6, 8 in the power supply may be set up to the minimum capacity to drive the relay 22. When the power supply 18 is driven at the ON of a relay contact 22a, current is supplied 19 to the power supply 17 through a current limiting resistor 20 and a diode 21 and the power supply 17 is strengthened, so that relays 13, 14 to drive necessary actuators 11, 12 can be driven. In said constitution, the operation of the computer is held by the minimum power supply based upon the power supply 17 at the stop of the operation, so that the power supply can be reduced and the capacity of the constitutional parts can be also reduced.
