发明名称 AZIMUTH VERIFYING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To easily verify an azimuth and with a high accuracy by measuring a difference of distances between a rotation center of a floppy disk and two verifying surfaces. CONSTITUTION:As for a dimension measuring instrument 8, that of a pick gauge type is used, a pick lever 18 contacts a verifying surface 12 and a displaced quantity is displayed on a gauge scale 19. A rotary boss 10 is rotated and the pick lever 18 of the size measuring instrument 8 is made to contact the verifying surface 12, a scale value by which a deflection of the gauge scale 19 becomes minimum is recorded, and subsequently, the pick lever 18 is made to contact a verifying surface 13 by inverting the rotary boss 10 by 180 deg., and its scale value is compared with the scale value of the verifying surface 12, by which a dimension difference is calculated. If the scale values are the same, a rotation center 16 is in a distance of a correct dimension l and a correction is not required, and if there is a dimension difference, a correct azimuth of a driving device of a correct floppy disk is obtained by correcting by its 1/2 quantity.
