<p>PURPOSE:To accurately decide scrap melting state by arranging a non-contacting type radiation pyrometer at a nozzle base end part of a gas blowing tuyere below the bath in a steel making furnace and detecting the bath temp. as securing a field of view by blowing non-reactive gas from the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The bottom blowing tuyere 6 of the steel making furnace has the nozzle 9 of double tube construction, which is fitted to a furnace bottom refractory 1A and blows the non-reactive gas between the inside tube 9A and the outside tube 9B, to prevent melting loss of the tuyere 6 by cooling. At the base end part of the inside tube 9A, a sub-stage condenser 10 and the non- contacting type radiation pyrometer 11 are arranged. The detecting signal of the radiation pyrometer 11 is inputted to a processor 12, which sends the signal to a temp. recorder 13 or a furnace control mechanism. In this way, the blowing of the bottom blowing N2 gas is stopped from the inside tube 9A, and non- reactive gas is blown to detect the bath temp. by the radiation pyrometer 11 as securing the field of view.</p> |
