PURPOSE:To make it possible to well dry laver, by predrying laver sheets formed on laver reed screens in an atmosphere with a low drying ability in a period when much free water is contained and normally drying the laver sheets in an atmosphere with higher drying ability than that in predrying. CONSTITUTION:Laver sheets formed on laver reed screens are predried in an atmosphere with low drying ability in a period when much free water is contained in a predrying chamber 4 and then normally dried in an atmosphere with higher drying ability than that in predrying in a drying chamber 2. In the drying chamber 2, hot air once fed to the normal drying in the drying chamber 2 is led to the predrying chamber 4. As a result, any laver sheets can be well dried without causing clouding, shrinkage, undried parts, etc., and the aimed sheet lavers having high merchandise value can be produced. |
