PURPOSE:To rapidly execute transaction processing in case of transaction based upon a house card by discriminating whether the card is a credit card issued from a card campany or a house card issued from a shop independently. CONSTITUTION:When data are transmitted from a class controller 1, a store controller 5 discriminates whether the data are transmitted from a credit authorization terminal (CAT) 2 or an electronic cash register (ECR) 3. A house card transaction telegram is transmitted from the CAT 2 and sales data are transmitted from the ECR 3. Whe the transmitted data are the sales data from the ECR 3, totalization is executed. When the data are transmitted from the CRT 2, a house card member's number table included in the telegram is retrieved and collated with the member's number. When the member's number concerned is detected, transaction processing is executed based on the telegram.
