摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To realize stable amplification by allowing a photoelectric conversion element to receive an input light and convert it into a photovolatile current and allowing a drive means to drive an optoelectric conversion element by a current proportional to the said photovolatile current so as to allow the optoelectric conversion element to generate a light output proportional to the input light. CONSTITUTION:Let an input light be P1, let a reference input light be PREF, and the input lights P1, PREF are converted respectively into photovolatile currents IP1, IP2 by two photodiodes (optoelectric conversion elements) PD1, PD2. An amplifier A amplifiers the difference between the photovolatic currents IP1, IP2 to supply a forward current IF of a laser diode (electrooptic conversion element) LD. An output light P0 is proportional to the difference of the two input lights (P1-PREF) and the amplification factor is represented as a reciprocal (1/k) of the feedback light. When the input light P1 is close to the reference input light PREF, the output light P0 is linear as shown in figure. The gradient in this case is expressed as (1/k), which represents the amplification factor. The transfer characteristic of the input/output light is represented as the noninverting amplification.</p>
