PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the labor and time necessary for artificial coloring, by inputting color-separated original picture as digital picture image data and coloring the data while confirming on a display. CONSTITUTION:A monochromatic photograph to be used as original picture is prepd. with a camera on color film, which is color-separated with a scanner, and the original picture is inputted as digital picture image data for each four separated colors: Y, M, C, and BL. Each color separated digital picture image is corrected by synthesizing digital picture image data for each separated color and displaying the picture image on a display. Operators vary the the picture image displayed on the display for each separated color. The digital picture image data after color correction is outputted. If a color original form for four separated colors: Y, M, C, and BL for printing is prepd. with a scanner, a colored picture image can be printed using said colored original form. |
