PURPOSE:To save a space and to improve an operability by using one picture recording control switch, executing the frame photographing by turning the switch on in a moment and executing the continuous photographing by continuing to turn the switch on. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a frame photographing mode, when a picture recording control switch SW is turned on for a T0 time, the electric potential of the E terminal of a picture recording control circuit REC comes to be from a high H to a low L for the T0 time only, and the REC starts to travel a tape by the fall signal. Simultaneously, a rise signal is supplied to an input terminal B1 of a changing-over signal generating circuit CSO. An IC1 of the CSO receives the input, generates an H output of the time width of a T1, and by receiving this input, an IC2 generates the H output of the time when of a T2. A transistor TR receives the input, decreases the electric potential of an E terminal and the REC stops the traveling of a tape by the fall signal. When an SW continues to turn on at the time of a continuous photographing mode, the REC starts the traveling of the tape by the fall signal at the time of ON. Even when the SW is turned off after a T1 time passes, photographing is continued, and next, by the fall signal generated when the SW is turned on, the tape is stopped.
