<p>A programmable controller (6) is coupled through a parallel tapping point (4) to the connection cable (2) between a data processing machine (1) and its printer (3) in such a way that it (6) reads the data output by the data processing machine through the data transmission cable (2) in parallel to the printer (3) of the system. The controller controls at least a duplicating printer (9, 10) which can be selectively set with the help of code switches (12, 13) to duplicate texts, passages of texts, printouts on individual forms, text supplements or the similar. The entry of appropriate synchronisation marks and the adaptation to the printer (3) of the system of the printer connected down stream of the controller are done during a learning phase of the controller (6) over the data processing machine (1) and its printer output port, to which the controller is connected in parallel to the printer (3) of the system.</p> |
