PURPOSE:To facilitate both production and retrieval of the information data on retrieval of parts of a parts list of a vehicle, etc., by storing a parts list, a table of contents, an index, an assembling flow chart, etc., into an optical card. CONSTITUTION:A user puts two optical cards A and B into an optical card reader 2. Thus the information on the 1st block of the card A is read and displayed on a display 4. This 1st block includes such information on a parts list of a specific vehicle type and a specific version in terms of the card A as well as those information on the parts list, a table of contents, an index and an assembling flow chart respectively and also the information on the storing constitution for both cards A and B. For the subsequent accesses, the user refers to the information on the 1st block displayed on the display 4 and supplies the number of a desired screen through an input device 3. In such a way, the user can produce and retrieve easily the information data on retrieval of the vehicle parts, etc.
