PURPOSE:To immediately extract and reproduce a reception message from a reception file addressed to a specific recipient at message reproduction by adding the identification code of the recipient to receive the message at the reception of message of an automatic answering telephone call. CONSTITUTION:The identification code urging means 4 sends a guide urging the input of identification code to allow a called party to identify the desired recipient for the transmittal of the message to the said called party. When an identification code reception means 5 receives the identification code inputted by the opposite party via a telephone set control means 9 and a telephone set section 10, a message urging means 6 urges the input of message and receives the message from the opposite party. In inputting the identification code of the message to an identification code input means 12 by a pushbutton or the like, a message retrieval means 13 retrieves the reception file of the message storage section 11 and a message recovery means 14 recovers the message corresponding to the retrieved identification code by the telephone set section 10 through the telephone set control means 9.
