<p>PURPOSE:To improve the power factor and utilization factor of a control rectifier for self-excitation for an auxiliary generator by mounting a second armature winding for taking a self-excitation power supply besides a first armature winding fed to an induction motor and the field of a main generator. CONSTITUTION:A first armature 31 for an auxiliary generator 3 is connected to a field winding 22 for a main generator 2 through a rectification circuit 6 and a chopper 7 while being directly connected to an induction motor 9 driving a radiator fan for an engine. A winding is selected so as to output ACs at comparatively low voltage in a second armature winding 32 for the auxiliary generator 3, and the second armature winding 32 is connected to a battery 10 and a field winding 33 for the auxiliary generator 3 through a control rectifier 11. Accordingly, the angle of phase control of the control rectifier for self- excitation is spread sufficiently, thus improving a power factor and the utilization factor of a switching element in the rectifier.</p> |
