The part of the structure to be protected is covered with a sheet of flexible and waterproof material in order to form a sealed shell and a liquid substance is injected in the interstitial annular volume between the structure and the shell; the flexible sheet 13 used to form the sealed shell consists of a synthetic film 5 joined, on one face, to a layer of a material 6 having a structure which is lacunar, particularly crosslinked, and capable of retaining the liquid substance within it, and the said liquid substance injected into the sealed shell is of the type capable of undergoing, after being put in place in the liquid state, a hardening process in situ. <IMAGE>
