PURPOSE:To easily and surely execute positioning of a tundish nozzle under good sealed and high accurate conditions, by fitting the tundish nozzle to a tundish through semi-cylindrical spacer block. CONSTITUTION:The semi-cylindrical spacer block 3 is fitted to the molten metal outlet 2 of the tundish 1. The semi-cylindrical spacer block 3 is fixed to the molten metal outlet 2 by bolts 6, etc., at its flange 4 part and the tundish nozzle 9, which arranges a indentating semi-cylindrical face 8 fitted closely to the projecting semi-cylindrical face 7 of the block 3, is fixed by blots at flanges 5, 10. In this way, even if the angle of the tundish nozzle 9 is changed to upper or lower direction, they always closely contact mutually and the molten metal leakage is prevented. |
