Composition intended to improve the impermeability and strength of clayey earths or of products manufactured with the said earths, comprising a particulate mixture of an alkali metal silicate and of a hydrophobic solid substance and process for employing it; application especially in the field of public works, for the stabilisation of clayey soils.
