PURPOSE:To handle a high speed wide band information signal by transmitting a multiplexed light signal from plural terminal sides in parallel, and executing the time division multiplexing, separate exchanging in the light signal condition by the light signal of an information signal in a light exchange. CONSTITUTION:Devices 3-1-3-16 composed of an electric-light transducing part and a light multiplexing device which are provided for respective subscribers convert the video information from a camera device to the light signal of a wave length lambda1, convert a replacing control signal to the light signal of a wave length lambda2, multiplex two light signals of wave length lambda1 and lambda2 with a multiplexer and transmit them to a light exchange 7. A light converting machine 7 demultiplexes respective light signals of the wave length lambda2 including an exchange control signal out of light signals to a light device part 10 for photodetecting an exchange control signal by a light device part 8, and inputs them to an electronic circuit parat 11 for a time slot converting control. Thus, the time division multiplex exchanged light signal and the time division demultiplexed light signal can be obtained. |
