PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a sun tracking device by providing a pair of light sensors centering on a partition and controlling the tilt of a solar energy absorber so that the coincidence is obtained between the outputs of both sensors. CONSTITUTION:When the sunbeams are made incident on both light sensors 1 and 2, these sensors produce voltage by the optical electromotive force. Here said electromotive force has a difference between both sensors 1 and 2 if a partition 3a is set in the direction different from the incident direction of the sunbeam. The difference of the electromotive force is amplified and used as the output of a differential circuit 8. Then a selection circuit 9 actuates selectively a drive circuit 10a or 10b in response to the output of the circuit 8. Thus a motor 7 is driven forward or reverse and therefore the tilt of a solar energy absorber 4 is controlled via gears 5 and 6. As a result, the absorber 4 is set opposite to the sun. |
