<p>A device which is placed just before a display device when inputting data into a terminal unit or preparing a document by means of a word processor using a key board and which enables the operator to efficiently read a source document without blocking the screen of said display device; the arrangement thereof being such that at first the height of the frame of said device is adjusted to the height of the display device and the keyboard to be used, then a source document is once wound round a main roller interposed between the right and left frames to be located on a mainshaft and unwound, as required, successibly to be taken out, while said main roller being rotated in the opposite direction by the rotation of a small motor, allowing required part of said document to be read independently; in such an arrangement as described above, difference in distance between the display device to the operator and the source document to the operation which has been a fault of conventional devices is reduced as much as possible and positions of lines of said document which have already been read can be easily changed, so that fatigue of the optic nerve or attendant work of the operator can be decreased.</p> |
