PURPOSE:To make it possible to add functions without requiring large alteration of mechanism and to improve performance by positioning a first A/C head between a head drum and a capstan and positioning a second A/C head in take-up side from the capstan. CONSTITUTION:The first A/C head 11 that records and reproduces sound control signal is positioned between a head drum 17 and a capstan 12 in the state of recording and reproducing, and the second A/C head 13 that makes only reproducing of sound control signals is positioned on the take-up side of the capstan. By this way, it is possible to make the position of the gap of the second A/C head 13 to be found on the extension of a tape 14 sent out from the capstan 12. Further, an increase in the capstan load and an increase in the tape load are not caused as there is no fixed post before the capstan 12. Thus, it is advantageous in view of performance.
